Manual Pottery Wheel WK-008
- This pottery wheel base and top are all made of high grade and heavy duty indestructible iron joined with a heavy-duty ball bearing that allows the top to spin easily. The wheel can holds up to 40 lbs.
- The sculpting wheel can turn the turntable easily. The top is designed with concentric circles to allow easy centering of your work and the rim is weighted to give the wheel extra momentum when you spin it. Tall enough for you to get your hand beneath the top so you can rotate it while you work.
- Though it has heavy-duty construction it is still light enough, Measures 7-inche round with a 6 inch round base, 4 inch tall. So that it can be moved easily by hands.
- A perfect choice for a painter, sculptor or decorator working in ceramics, pottery, floral arranging, model-making, clay design. Useful to paint, decorate, for giving shape.
Modelling Paste Premium -500ml
- Ideal for building paint layers or creating textured artworks
- Dries to a hard, white finish
- Acrylic or oil paint can be used over the top, or mix in acrylic paint for a pastel colour
- Apply with a palette knife to build 3D effects and texture
- Build depth by adding layers once paste is dry
- Embed small objects into paste for extra effect
- Wait approx. 30mins of drying time for every 5mm of product
Handy hints:
- Achieve desired thickness by building up layers (allowing each to dry before applying the next)
- A hair dryer can be used to speed up drying process, allow final layer to air dry (to minimise chance of cracking)
- Clean up with warm soapy water while wet
